Russell Board

Russell Board – Chairman

A Director of GHD since 1999, Russell was appointed Chairman in 2011. Today, he is responsible for the company’s high-level direction and corporate governance. A civil engineer with more than 30 years' experience, Russell has held executive responsibility for GHD’s business in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, and South America. During his career, he managed a broad range of infrastructure projects, particularly in remote areas. Russell has completed programs at the Mt Eliza School of Management and Harvard Business School. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institution of Engineers, Australia.

Ashley Wright

Ashley Wright – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Ashley Wright is Chief Executive Officer of GHD, responsible for driving the next stage of the company’s growth, with a focus on clients and developing the best in GHD’s people. Ashley’s career spans 27 years of client service across Australia, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and the UK. As an engineer, he has worked on some of Australia’s landmark projects, including the Perth to Bunbury Highway and the Mandurah Railway in Western Australia, and the Westlink M7 motorway in Sydney.

Rob Knott

Rob Knott - General Manager Asia Pacific/Services

Rob is responsible for managing GHD's operations in New Zealand, Philippines, China and Asia, and leads the group Technical Services portfolio. With more than 28 years’ experience, Rob has been responsible for project management and design of major infrastructure, defence, and property & buildings projects. He is chair of GHD's Acquisition and Integration Advisory Group which has provided governance of more than 18 transactions in Australia, United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. An executive director of GHD since 2009, Rob is past chair of board risk committee. He completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program in 2011 and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia.

Diane Lundquist

Diane Lundquist - Principal

Diane is a Principal of GHD and was previously a Director of CRA Holdings since 2012. She has over 30 years of experience in engineering, environmental compliance, and remediation for the oil and gas industry. Diane’s experience includes all aspects of assessment and remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater. She manages a North American environmental portfolio for a major oil company with an annual turnover of over US15 million. As part of this engagement, she has developed an extensive understanding of the behaviour based safety expertise and programs required to work in the oil and gas industry. Diane was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cambria Environmental Technology, which was acquired by CRA in 2007. She holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana and is a registered professional engineer in seven US states.

Michael Muntisov

Michael Muntisov - Project Director Water Technology

Michael has more than 30 years of water industry experience, including more than 10 years in senior management roles. Michael joined GHD in 1983. His particular focus is in water treatment and he has played a key role in the technical development of GHD's practice in the water quality and treatment discipline. He is experienced in high level business leadership, incorporating client, financial and team management.

May Ngui

May Ngui – Manager Western Sydney

May currently manages our Western Sydney operations based in Parramatta but continues to be active in technical delivery and client-facing roles for the company. May joined GHD in 1991. A chartered professional electrical engineer, Fellow of Engineers Australia and Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she has 28 years' experience in the design and commissioning of electrical and computer-based control systems for industrial plants and infrastructure both in Australia and overseas, spending time in exotic locations such as an oil rig on the South China Sea and in a cement factory in pre-1989 rural China. May is passionate about technical leadership and development of female leaders in the industry and is a mentor to a number of young engineers both within and outside GHD.

Edward Roberts

Edward (Ed) Roberts – Regional People Manager - North America

Ed is the Regional People Manager for GHD in North America. He has more than 30 years of experience in environmental engineering and project management.

Ed served as President of Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA) from 2000 to 2014. During this time, the company grew from 1000 to 3000 people both organically or through acquisition across North America and in the UK. Ed also played a significant role in defining the company's safety culture.

Peter Wasow

Peter Wasow – Non Executive Director

Peter is a non-executive director. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Alumina Limited, an ASX top 100 Australian based global alumina producer. Prior to this, Peter was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Santos Ltd, an ASX top-20 Australian-based international oil and gas company. Peter has direct international experience in working with subsidiaries, customers, partners, lenders, governments, suppliers and people in many regions including Asia, North America, South America, United Kingdom and Europe.

Jan Babiak

Jan Babiak – Non Executive Director

Jan spent 28 years with EY, the last 20 based in London in various leadership roles focused on information security/cyber risk and regulatory/public policy and as founder and global leader of EY’s client facing, commercially-focused climate change and sustainability practice. She also served on the EY governance and operational board for Northern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. Jan is now based in the US and has a ‘portfolio career’ serving on the board of Walgreens Boots Alliance, a S&P 30 company, where she chairs the Audit Committee and Bank of Montreal, a Canadian TSX 10 bank. She is a past board member and Audit Chair for Logica plc, a then UK FTSE 150 technology company, and also the Royal Mail and Experian plc, both FTSE 100 companies.
